Drupal: Site Administration

Last month we demonstrated the installation of a localhost web server (WAMP), the core Drupal 6.x package, one module and a theme. This month we will continue with our Drupal site development, adding more modules and using the Administration panel to configure our site. 

In this presentation Maury will describe and demonstrate:
 

• Adding, enabling and configuring modules and themes
• Creating and configuring content types 
• Establishing user roles and setting permissions
• Setting up a category (taxonomy) system
• Creating content nodes
• Installing and configuring a rich text editor
• Configuring blocks and user areas
