30 new ventures debut at Launch: Silicon Valley June 9th.

The Silicon Valley Association of Startup Entrepreneurs (SVASE) - co-presenting with Garage Technology Ventures and Microsoft - hosted the fourth annual Launch: Silicon Valley at Microsoft's Mountain View facility. Thirty new companies, including a last minute substitute, byjobi, presented to a capacity crowd at Launch: Silicon Valley 2009. Chosen from more than 400 entries, they presented their new product or service in groups of five, organized by sector. The audience voted for the venture "most likely to succeed" at each group.  http://launchsiliconvalley.org/index.htm

As in previous years, Launch: Silicon Valley 2009 featured new companies that are ready for launch, but are not yet well known. These are companies that have a product or service available (as of June 9, 2009), but have not been out in the marketplace for more than a few months.  http://launchsiliconvalley.org/presentingc.html , as are previous Launch firms and their current status; e. g. Data Robotics showed its Drobo Network Attached Storage box at Launch: Silicon Valley 2007. Other information on SVASE may be found at: http://www.svase.org
