Group Videotaping Project

We had 3 people videotaping the  General Meeting where Kevin Lynn spoke about "Two Ways To Upgrade from Vista to Windows 7". Additional videotaping was done at the preceding WinSIG and SIRS meetings. The tapes have been captured as .avi files and now the fun begins.

This project will continue for the next several Multimedia SIG meetings, as we discuss, and hopefully resolve, problems and issues we encounter in  editing and producing a final video. This month we will discuss the general strategy for importing the video files and selecting the clips to be included. We will also demonstrate some basic editing techniques.

If you would like to try your hand at editing the film, bring an external hard drive with at least 60 GB free space and you can receive copies of the videos for the project.
